Reinventing My Business

In response to last week’s article, How to Reinvent Your Business in 7 Easy Steps, I decided I needed to take my own advice <g> and put myself to the test.  Here’s what emerged:

"If I could start again, knowing what I know now, what would be different?"

1. Would give up  in person speaking/networking and get 95% of my business from online means
2.  have only a handful of clients and they pay well (for coaching)
3.  Have VAs to whom I can farm out work
4.  Find another masterfully skilled VA (internet marketing) to serve on my team
5.  Have 10-15 info products/membership sites that I sell online.  These make up the majority of my income.
6.  Earn at least $3000/month from affiliate revenue/passive income streams
7.  Only work with clients 2-3 hours per day.  Spend the rest of my time writing and in product development
8.  Write a book to showcase my expertise
9. Travel 1-2 times per year to powerful/relevant conferences
10.  Create a highly focused niche for my biz
11.  Participate in a Mastermind group
12.  Create profitable strategic alliances at the beginning of things.

1. Have no credit card debt
2.  Go into my office on my own schedule, where I don’t have appointments/commitments to others that keep me chained to my desk
3.  Have a 4-day workweek and 12 weeks of vacation per year
4.  Pay more attention to my surroundings — live in a town in a part of the country with great amenities, good weather, and a lower cost of living (love that house in HI on House Hunters with the open floor plan and 4 lanais that sold for $1 million)
5.  Have more free time/fun time with Eric
6.  Worry less!
7.  Severely limit my involvement in extracurricular/outside activities
8.  Spend more time with family and friends
9.  Become passionate about a hobby
10.  Take better care with physical health–not permit weight gain, poor exercise, etc.
