There’s Facebook, MySpace, Ryze, Etribes,
FastPitch, Linkedin, Ecademy, etc. on the social marketing and social networking
landscape. The list goes on and on. To participate on all of these sites would
easily eat up more than 8 hours of my day. Which one do you choose?
How do you know where to get started? I was a fan of MySpace for awhile,
but I’ve discovered my target market wasn’t really hanging out there, not to
mention that many of the profiles simply made me cross-eyed. I’ve listened
to a couple of teleclasses about social networking in the last week and think
that I need to pick 1-2 social networking places where my target market hangs
out. That appears to be on Linkedin and Facebook.
So, that’s where I’ve decided to spend my energy.
